83 Insurgents Were Killed!    

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 11 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 97 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan,Afghan Air Forces conducted 147 flights and carried out 35 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 83 Insurgents were killed and 17 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Wardak, Ghazni, Badghis, Logar, Zabul, Helmand, Paktia, Balkh, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Faryab, Sir-e Pol, Kunduz and Takhar provinces.

Wardak- 25 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Jaghatu district.

Ghazni- 17 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and a vehicle packed with explosives was destroyed in airstrikes and response attacks in Andar & Qarabagh districts.

Badghis- 13 Taliban insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 1 Dshk (machine gun) was destroyed in response attacks and airstrikes in Bala Murghab district.

Logar- 8 Taliban insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in Chuni area, Logar capital.

Zabul- 8 insurgents were killed and 13 were wounded in response attacks in Daychopan district.

Helmand- 4 insurgents were killed, 1 base and 1 motorbike were destroyed in airstrike in Sangin district.

Paktia- 4 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Sayed Karam district and Gardez capital.

Balkh- 2 insurgents were killed as a result of their own IED explosions in Charbulak district.

Kandahar- one insurgent was killed and a motorbike was destroyed in airstrike in Ghorak district.

Nangarhar- one insurgent was killed in airstrikes in Pachir ha gam district.
