37 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 10 joint clearance operations and conducted 101 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 107 flights and carried out 13 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 37 Insurgents were killed, 15 were wounded and another was detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Logar, Badghis, Herat, Kunar, Paktia, Helmand, Baghalan, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Nangarhar, Zabul, Faryab, Balkh, and Sir-e Pol provinces.

Logar- 7 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in clearing operation in Pol-e Jugai area, Baraki Barak district.

Badghis- 7 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded in airstrikes in Bala Murghab districts.

Herat- 4 insurgents were killed and a motorbike was destroyed in airstrikes in Shindan district.

Kunar- 4 ISIS insurgents were killed, 1 detained and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in Joint clearing operation in Sokay district.

Paktia- 4 insurgents were killed in clearing operation in Samkanay district.

Helmand- 3 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and 1 depot of weapon & ammunition were destroyed in response attacks and airstrikes in Nad Ali district.

Baghalan- 3 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in response attacks in vicinities of Pol-e Khomari.

Ghazni- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in clearing operation in Qarabagh district and outskirts of Ghazni capital.

Uruzgan- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 Kalashnikovs(Ak-47) and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrike in Chora district.

Nangarhar- one ISIS insurgent was killed in airstrike in Khogyani district.
