107 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 10 joint clearance operations and conducted 95 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 118 flights and carried out 15 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 107 Insurgents were killed, 22 were wounded and 9 other including 8 suspects were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Logar, Wardak, Ghazni, Takhar, Baghalan, Nangarhar, Balkh, Jowzjan, Faryab and Helmand provinces.

Logar: 42 insurgents were killed, 37 Kalashnikovs (Ak-47), 3 RPG (rockets) launcher, 5 Pk machine gun and 20 radios were destroyed in airstrikes in Khoshi district.

Wardak: 35 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Nirkh district.

Ghazni: 13 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded, 1 was arrested, 13 Kalashnikovs (Ak-47) and 1 pk machine gun were seized in response attacks and airstrikes in Qarabagh district and vicinities of Ghazni capital.

Baghalan: 4 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in response attacks in Bez-Mullayai, Cheshma Shier, Pol-e Khomari area.

Takhar: 5 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded in clearing operations in Baharak district.

Nangarhar: 3 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Khogyani district.

Balk-Jowzjan highway: 3 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in response attacks in Balkh-Jowzjan highway.

Faryab: 2 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in response attacks in Andkhoy district.

Uruzgan: 2 suspects were detained in Commands, Special Forces operation in Deh Rahwod district.

Logar: 6 suspects were arrested in Commands, Special Forces operation in Charkh district.
