38 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 9 joint clearance operations and conducted 78 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 124 flights and carried out 30 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 38 Insurgents were killed and 13 were wounded.
These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Zabul, Paktika, Ghazni, Paktia, Kandahar, Ghor, Balkh, Sir-e Pol, Kapisa and Kunar provinces.
In these operations, 14 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 1 hideout was destroyed and amount of weapon and ammunition were seized in Shah Joy and Shinkay districts of Zabul province. 8 insurgents including 3 Haqqani network terrorists member were killed and a motorbike was destroyed in Barmal, Jani Khel and Khoshahmand districts of Paktika province. 6 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in Khwaja Omari, Qarabagh and Ab-Band districts of Ghazni province. 3 ISIS terrorists were killed in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province.
Similarly, 4 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in Khakrez district of Kandahar province. 2 Taliban terrorists were killed, 1 vehicle and a motorbike were seized in Lazha Mangal district of Paktia province. 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in Du Layna district of Ghor province.
