17 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 9 joint clearance operations and conducted 78 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 60 flights and carried out 10 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 17 Insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded.
These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in Baghalan, Zabul, Ghor, Ghor, Kandahar, Wardak, Ghazni, Kapisa and Nimruz provinces.
In these operations, 12 insurgents were killed in Nirkh district of Wardak province. 5 insurgents were killed and 6 other were wounded in Dawlat Yar district of Ghor province.
