Statement of Ministry of National Defense regarding to airstrikes on enemy in Baharak District!

A group of Taliban were targeted in an airstrike carried out by Afghan Air Forces in "Hazara Qarluq" area of Takhar provincial center at 2:30 pm, yesterday, which as a result, 12 Talib fighters including several of their commanders were killed.

Two nights ago, during a clash between the Taliban and the Afghan National Police, number of our police were martyred in Baharak district.

Ministry of National Defense has appointed an investigation team to assess allegations regarding civilian casualties resulting from this attack.
