39 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 21 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 12 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 39 Insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded and 7 suspects were detained.

Baghalan- 20 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and 8 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Joint Special Operation & airstrikes in Dahana Ghori and Baghalan-e Markazi districts.

Nangarhar- 10 insurgents were killed in airstrikes and artillery attacks in Achin district.

Paktia- 4 insurgents were killed, 7 suspects were arrested, 2 motorbikes, 3 photography camera, 35 mobile phone, 8 Guerrilla packs, some advertising documents, Taliban Identity cards and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in airstrikes & Joint Special Operation in Jaji Aryoub, Ahmad Khel and Sayed Karam districts. 

Helmand- 3 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 8 fighting positions, 2 motorbikes were destroyed and amount of weapons & munitions were confiscated in an airstrike & clearing operation in Nad Ali and Nahar Saraj districts.

Wardak- 2 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Sayed Abad district.
