125 Insurgents Were Killed!    

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 10 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 72 Commandos special operations and Afghan Air Forces carried out 14 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 10 provinces of the country.

As a result, 125 Insurgents were killed and 43 were wounded.

Ghazni- 43 insurgents were killed, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized, 1 depot of IED and number of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes & Commands Forces clearing operation in Giro, Gelan and Dehyak districts. 

Badghis- 28 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in airstrikes in Dara-e Laman area, province capital.

Kandahar- 13 insurgents were killed, 21 were wounded in airstrikes & response attacks in Khakrez district.

Balkh- 10 insurgents were killed in Commands Forces clearing operation in Charbulak district.

Helmand- 8 insurgents were killed, 3 hideouts were destroyed and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in an airstrike and clearing operation in Nahar Saraj district.

Wardak- 6 insurgents were killed and 8 were wounded in response attacks in Sayed Abad district.

Baghalan- 5 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in response attacks in Jalga district.

Uruzgan- 5 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in joint Special Forces operation in Khan-Aqah area, province capital.

Paktia- 5 insurgents were killed in joint Special Forces operation in Zarmat district.

Badakhshan- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Baharak district.
