Today, around 67 students from the 17th graduating class of Abu Ubayda ibn Jarrah (RA) National Defense University, affiliated with the Education and Personnel Directorate of the Ministry of National Defense, graduated from the Hazrat Muaz ibn Jabal (RA) Military Academy after successfully completing four years of professional bachelor’s-level studies in various disciplines. The graduation ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani “Baradar,” along with several cabinet ministers.
Meanwhile, at the Military Academy of this university, 1150 students are currently enrolled in the first, second, and third year classes.
Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani "Baradar", stated: "Alongside of professional training, you have been instilled with a sense of national spirit and the importance of protecting territorial integrity. The policy of the Islamic Emirate is to neither harm anyone nor accept harm from others; however, if it is provoked, it will respond firmly and without hesitation.”
He further emphasized, "This country is not an easy target for its enemies; rather, it is like the Zaqqum tree, which has made the throats of great empires bitter. Therefore, newly born powers will never be able to swallow it.”
Afterward, Director General of the Administrative Affairs Office, Sheikh Noorul Haq “Anwari", while advising the students to serve and obey diligently, mentioned, "Inshallah, Afghanistan has now achieved self-sufficiency in all sectors, including security, economy, and others. You must familiarity yourselves with modern weapons."
Similarly, the Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Noorullah “Noori,” stated: “You have been raised with an Islamic spirit; the foundation of training in our camps is faith. You will serve the Islamic system, and protecting its will be your foremost duty. This system safeguards our honor, freedom, and land, and we must all be proud of it.”
The Minister of Higher Education, Sheikh Nida Mohammad “Nadim,” addressed the graduating youth, saying: “The hopes of our society rest upon you, and the time has come to turn those hopes into action. You should not work solely for yourselves; instead, carry out your duties in service of society and Islam.”
Head of the National Examinations Authority, Sheikh Abdul Baqi “Haqqani,” also stated: “Countries without a strong military are always vulnerable to domination by others. Every nation must maintain a capable army to safeguard its freedom.”
Finally, students, who yesterday participated in oath-taking, pledges of allegiance, and formal military demonstrations before the leaders, received their graduation certificates today from the officials.
