Bala Murghab Badghis:

In the past 48 hour, joint forces, Commandos, Special Forces from Police & National Directorate of Security, and Afghan Air Force have started the second phase (offensive phase) of operations in Badghis.

As results, 99 Taliban terrorists were killed and 35 were wounded, tactical vehicles, a large amount weapons and ammunition were seized or were destroyed in the area. The clearing operation continues in Bala Murghab district. More details of this operation will be shared with honorable people of Afghanistan and Media.

Unfortunately, It is with great sadness we announce that during these operations 8 Afghan National Army and 4 Police who fought with bravery and courage accepted martyrdom. We shall also mention that 10 Afghan National Army soldiers and 24 Police sustained injuries.

Meanwhile the terrorist death bodies left in battlefields. Afghan National Defense and Security Forces helped the Red Cross workers to carry those bodies from the battlefields. Our evacuation teams along with Afghan Air Force, transported our injured to nearest health facilities. All the bodies of our martyred soldiers have been transported to Kabul to be transferred to their respected families.
