23 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 8 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 73 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 118 flights and carried out 28 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 23 Insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and another was detained.

These operations were conducted in the 8 provinces

Ghazni- 9 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrikes in Qarabagh and Khogyani districts.

Logar- 6 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Bedak village of Pol-e Alam district.

Paktikah- 3 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in response attacks in Ahmad Khel district.

Takhar- 3 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 5 rounds of IED were destroyed in ANA clearing operation in Ishkamish district.

Wardak- 2 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in response attacks in Sayed Abad district.

Zabul- one insurgent was arrested in response attacks in outskirts of capital.
