18 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 8 joint offensive & clearance operations, conducted 77 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 84 flights and carried out 19 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 18 Insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 11 suspects were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Logar, Wardak, Helmand, Zabul, Ghazni, Farah, Ghor, Badghis, Faryab and Takhar provinces.

Logar- 11 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 11 suspects were arrested and 1 vehicle (Kind of Tunes) was destroyed in airstrikes & Commandos special operation in capital.

Wardak- 5 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Nirkh district.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Kajaki district.

Zabul- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Shahar Safah district.
