146 insurgents were killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 9 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 82 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 166 flights and carried out 21 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 146 Insurgents were killed, 37 were wounded and 5 were destined.

These operations were conducted with the support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Farah, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Helmand, Balkh, Kandahar, Zabul, Kunduz, Paktia, Takhar, Herat and Faryab provinces.

Farah- 76 insurgents were killed, 20 were wounded, 4 were detained, 2 vehicles were destroyed and some weapons, advertising & informational documents from enemies were seized in clearing operation with support of Afghan Air Forces in Khak-e Safid, Bakwa districts and Ganakaan & Raj areas of capital.

Ghazni- 26 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded, 2 vehicles, 6 motorbikes, 1 depot of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes and response attacks in Dehyak, Qarabagh, Ab-Band and Andar districts.

Uruzgan- 15 insurgents were killed, 2 motorbikes, amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Deh Rahwod and capital.

Helmand- 12 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 1 motorbike, 15 kilo explosives, 1 hideout were destroyed and amount of weapons &  ammunition were seized in clearing operation with support of Afghan Air Forces in Grishk district & around the Shuraba Camp.

Balkh- 10 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in response attacks in Chamtal and Charboluk districts.

Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Maiwand district.

Zabul- 2 insurgents were killed in response attacks in Daychopan district.

Kunduz- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in an airstrike in Imam Sahib District.

Paktia- one insurgent was killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in response attack in Ahmad Abad district.

Takhar- Taliban red unit in charge for Darqad was arrested, 1 vehicle, 15 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in Special operation and airstrikes in Darqad & Ishkamish districts.
