150 insurgents were killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 13 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 83 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 120 flights and carried out 14 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 150 Insurgents were killed, 50 were wounded and 4 were destined.

These operations were conducted with the support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Farah, Badghis, Ghazni, Faryab, Daykundi, Uruzgan, Wardak, Takhar, Nangarhar, Parwan, Zabul, Kandahar, Ghor, Balkh and Helmand provinces.

Farah- 39 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded, 1 vehicle, 9 motorbikes were destroyed and amount of weapons and ammunition were seized in clearing operation and airstrikes in Balabulok, Bakwa districts and Janikaan village of capital. 

Badghis- 39 insurgents were killed, 13 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were confiscated in ANA commandos (SOC) clearing operation with the support of Afghan Air Forces in Jawand district.

Ghazni- 21 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 4 motorbikes, 3 vehicles, 1 hideout and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes and response attacks in Dehyak and Andar districts.

Faryab- 13 insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded in an airstrike in Bilcheragh district.

Daykundi- 12 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded in response attacks in Gujran district. 

Uruzgan- 7 insurgents were killed and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in vicinities of capital.

Wardak- 5 insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded, 4 were arrested, 12 mobile (phone) and some advertising documents were seized in clearing operation and response attacks in Sayed Abad district & outskirts of capital. 

Takhar- 4 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in an airstrike in Ishkamish district.

Nangarhar- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Khogyani district.

Parwan- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Bagram district.
