100 insurgents were killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 12 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 83 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 134 flights and carried out 19 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 100 Insurgents were killed and 45 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with the support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Ghazni, Farah, Ghor, Herat, Balkh, Helmand, Faryab, Sir-e Pol, Kunduz, Zabul and Kandahar provinces.

Ghazni- 10 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in clearing operation in Gelan district.

Farah- 10 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in clearing operation in Koh-Zour area.

Ghor- 44 insurgents were killed and 19 were wounded in clearing operation, airstrike & artillery attacks in capital.

Herat- 8 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in during clearing operation in Shindan district.

Balkh- 25 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded, 2 Saracha vehicles and 8 motorbikes were destroyed in clearing operation & an airstrike carried by Resolute Support in Charboluk district.

Helmand- 3 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in an airstrike carried by Resolute Support in Grishk district.
