27 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 17 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 7 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 13 provinces of the country, as a result, 27 Insurgents were killed and another was detained.

Uruzgan- 12 insurgents were killed, 13 hideouts, 1 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed and 8 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces with support of Air Forces in Shahidi Hassas district.  

Ghor- 12 insurgents were killed and 6 fighting positions were destroyed in airstrikes in Dawlat Yar district.

Kandahar- 3 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Khakrez district.

Herat- one insurgent was arrested and 2 mobile (phone) were seized in Joint Special Operation in Ghoryain district.
