40 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 18 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 15 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country, as a result, 40 Insurgents were killed, 14 were wounded and 5 were detained.

Laghman- 9 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Alishing & Alingar districts.

Farah- 8 insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded in an airstrike in Posht Rod district.

Kunduz- 7 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in clearing operation in province capital.

Helmand- 6 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle and 1 motorbike were destroyed in clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Marja district.

Ghazni- 5 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 5 were arrested, 1 vehicle, 2 motorbikes, 20 kg hashish and amount of explosives were destroyed, 16 mobile (phone), 12 sim cards and 4 passports were confiscated in Joint Special Operation & response attacks in Dehyak and Jaghatu districts.

Badghis- 2 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in response attacks in Bala Murghab district.

Uruzgan- 2 insurgents were killed in response attacks in Chora district.

Jowzjan- one insurgent was killed and another was wounded in response attacks in Faizabad district.

Logar- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Charkh district.
