85 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 21 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 24 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 15 provinces of the country, as a result, 85 Insurgents were killed, 26 were wounded and 11 including 4 suspects were detained.

Faryab- 30 insurgents were killed, 14 were wounded, 1 detained, 1 motorbike and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in clearing operation in Qaraghan and Andkhoy districts.

Ghazni- 17 insurgents were killed in response attacks & an airstrike in Andar district.

Baghalan- 14 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded, 2 suspects were arrested and amount of weapons & munitions were destroyed in clearing operation and airstrikes in Naharin, Tala WA Barfak and Baghalan-e Markazi districts.

Kunar- 7 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in an airstrike in Sokay district.

Wardak- 5 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Chak district.

Logar- 4 insurgents including Qari Waisuddin a Taliban key commander who have been already martyred 4 judges of Paktikah province, were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike in Lashkar Khel village, Mohammad Agha districts.

Nangarhar- 3 insurgents were killed, 5 were detained, amount of weapons & munitions, 14 mobile, 2 passports and some advertising documents were seized, 8 kg opium and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike and Joint Special Operation in Achin and Rodat districts.

Paktikah- 3 insurgent were killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in airstrikes in Nazar Mohammad village, province capital.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded, 2 suspect were arrested, 5 mobile and 1 passport were confiscated in an airstrike and Joint Special Operation in Nad Ali and Washir districts.

Kunduz- one insurgent was arrested, 5 hideouts, 3 depots of weapons & munitions, 1 jail ( prison), 1 training center, 4 motorbikes, 3 containers, 1000 bags of different foodstuff, 226 rounds of IEDs, 25 rocket bullets (RPG), 21 mortars bullets, 12 barrels of petrol oil & diesel, 25 military uniforms, 16 batteries and amount of military equipment’s in the area were destroyed, 70 bags of rice, 145 bags of wheats and 6  bags of raw rice that enemy collected for the name of charity or Usher e Zakat from people, 3 motorbikes and 1 vehicle were seized in Joint Special Operation in Char Dara district.
