61 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 15 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 27 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country, as a result, 61 Insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded and 5 suspects were detained.

Kunduz- 20 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle and 1 hideout were destroyed in an airstrike in Dasht-e Archi district.

Nangarhar- 9 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes and clearing operation in Deh Bala, Pachir WA gam, Achin and Mohmand Dara districts. 

Ghazni- 9 insurgents were killed and 4 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Rashidan & Ab-Band districts.

Zabul- 7 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 5 suspects were arrested, 2 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized and 30 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation in Shah Joy district.

Wardak- 6 insurgents including Mawlavi Abed Taliban shadow district governor for Sayed Abad, Habib Jan and Hameed Shajah Taliban local commanders were killed, 2 motorbikes were destroyed and 1 round of IED was discovered & defused in an airstrike and Commando Forces clearing operation in Sayed Abad & Chak districts.

Uruzgan- 6 insurgents including a Taliban local commander were killed, 2 motorbikes and amount of weapons & munitions were confiscated in artillery attacks & clearing operation in Deh Rahwod district.

Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 motorbikes and amount of weapons & munitions were destroyed in an airstrike in Shah Walikut district.

Paktikah- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Sharana, province capital. 

Farah- one cache of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike in Qala Kah district.
