130 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 16 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 21 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 130 Insurgents were killed and 35 were wounded.

Badakhshan- 24 insurgents were killed and 6 fighting positions were destroyed in airstrikes in Wurduj and Jurm districts.

Faryab- 24 insurgents were killed and 3 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in joint clearing operation in Khawaja Sabz Posh district.

Helmand- 18 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 1 motorbike and 7 hideouts were destroyed in airstrikes and clearing operation in Nahar Saraj, Musa Qala, Marja and Nad Ali districts.

Zabul- 13 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in airstrike & response attack in Shinkay and Mizan districts.

Paktikah- 10 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in response attacks in Jani Khel district.

Paktia- 9 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 4 vehicles were destroyed in airstrikes in Mata Khan & Ahmad Abad districts. 

Balkh- 8 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded and 10 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Chamtal district.

Badghis- 5 insurgents including Mullah Saduruddin a Taliban local commander were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrikes in Bala Murghab district.

Baghalan- 5 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in airstrikes in Baghalan Jaded district

Kandahar- 4 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in clearing operation and response attack in Nish & Maiwand districts.

Wardak- 4 insurgents were killed and 1 wounded in airstrikes in Sayed Abad and Nirkh districts.

Herat- 3 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded, 1 vehicle and 3 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrike and clearing operation in Rabat Sangai & Shindan district.

Logar- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 fighting positions and 1 vehicle were destroyed in airstrike in Baraki Barak district.

Ghazni- one insurgent was killed in airstrikes in Qarabagh district.
