33 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 13 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 10 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 9 provinces of the country, as a result, 33 Insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded and 4 other were detained.

Herat- 18 insurgents including Mullah Besimullah a Taliban local commander were killed in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Dara Takhet area of the Chishti Sharif district.

Baghalan- 3 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Chob-Froshan Jar-e Khoshk area in Baghalan-e Markazi district.

Balkh- 3 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 1 suspect was arrested and 1 motorbike was seized in ANDSF clearing operation and airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Charkhab area of the Sholgara district.

Kunduz- 3 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Khan Abad district.

Kandahar- 3 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Karez area of the Maiwand district.

Paktia- 2 insurgents were killed, 1 motorbike and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in ANA response attacks in province capital.

Laghman- one insurgent was killed and other were detained in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF in Camp Baba Sahib, Ibrahim Khel area of the province capital.
