72 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 22 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 22 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 16 provinces of the country, as a result, 72 Insurgents were killed, 29 were wounded and 15 including 13 suspects were detained.  

Faryab- 19 insurgents were killed, 16 were wounded, 1 detained, 1 hideout was destroyed, 1 vehicle and some IED making equipment’s were seized in ANA response attacks and airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Almar district.

Herat- 12 insurgents were killed and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Oba and Pashtun Kut districts.

Takhar- 11 insurgents were killed and 3 other were wounded, Khamdan Yateem Qishlaq, Dawg Qishlaq, from Dasht-e Qala to Kamisari I-Khanam, Shahar Kohana I-Khanam, Asamuddin avenue, Mamour Hassan and Shuar-tuaghayi areas were cleared from enemy presence in clearing operations conducted by ANDSF with support of Air Forces in Khwaja Baha Uddin district.       

Zabul- 10 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 6 suspects were arrested, 2 motorbikes and 1 vehicle were destroyed in airstrikes and Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF in Shinkay & Shah Joy districts.

Ghazni- 10 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 1 arrested and 3 motorbikes were destroyed in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces and airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Gelan and Andar districts.

Kunar- 6 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Sokay district.

Baghalan- 2 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in ANA response attacks in Naharin district. 

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 3 depots, 500 kg explosives, 4 hideouts, 1 vehicle, amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed and 37 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in ANA clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Nahar Saraj and Nad Ali districts.

Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed in ANA response attacks in Shah Walikut districts. 

Kunduz- 7 suspects were arrested, 1 hideout, 4 vehicles, 5 motorbikes, amount of weapons & munition were confiscated and 3 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in ANDSF Joint Special Operation in province capital.
