31 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 18 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 2 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 31 Insurgents were killed, 17 were wounded and 14 including 10 suspects were detained.

Uruzgan- 20 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded, 6 rounds of IEDs, 110 kg explosives, 1 RPG (rocket), 90 rounds of hand making IEDs, 8 bunkers, 6 tunnels of the underground were discovered and destroyed and some advertising documents were seized in Commando Forces clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Khas-Uruzgan district & Trenkut the province capital.

Herat- 4 insurgents were killed and 12 were wounded in response attacks in Oba district.

Zabul- 4 insurgents were killed and 1 shelter was destroyed in an airstrike in Trang and Jaldak districts.

Ghazni- 2 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in response attacks in Muqur district.

Ghor- one insurgent was killed, 4 were detained, 1 vehicle, 3 motorbikes were destroyed and 125 kg opium was confiscated in response attacks in Hungarahn village, province capital.

Parwan- 8 suspects were arrested and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in Commando Forces clearing operation in Bagram district.

Nimruz- 2 suspects were arrested in Commando Forces clearing operation in Khashrod district.

Helmand- 2 depots of IEDs, 1 hideout, 1 fighting position were destroyed and 200 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Commando Forces clearing operation in Nahar Saraj district.
