Statement of MoD regarding the suicide attacks in Nad Ali district of Helmand

Today around 10 am, a suicide bomber had been boarded on the Mazda vehicle packed with explosives and he had intended to attack the outpost belonging to the 2015th Maiwand Corps, 3rd brigade, 1st battalion, in Zer-Pala area in Nad Ali district, when this terrorist approaching the checkpoint, he was identified by the brave Afghan National Army Forces and then after the soldiers shooting, he blasts himself in area.

In this terrorist attack, unfortunately, 5 ANA brave Forces were martyred and 4 other of them were wounded.

The Ministry of National Defense leadership has been impressed for the sake of this terrorist and inhuman attack, asked Allah the paradise to the martyrs and patience for their survivors, and prayed the injured to return to health.

The terrorists have lost the ability and morale to confront the National Defense and Security Forces, they are carrying out cowardly and terrorist attacks that the Afghan Forces will bravely be protecting the lives and property of the people and they will fight against these terrorists until their last breath.
