31 insurgents were killed in different parts of the country      

Kabul, Afghanistan:  In the past 24 hours, , Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 14 clearing operations and carried out 91 Special Forces tasks in different parts of the country in order to remove security threats and ensure security. Afghan Air Forces also conducted 86 flights supporting Afghan National Army and carried out 10 airstrike on enemies’ positions. As a result, 31 insurgents were killed and 19 others were wounded.

These operations were conducted by the Afghan National Army Forces and with the support of Air forces in Zabul, Oruzgan, Daikundi, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Kunar, Badghis, Herat, Farah, Helmand, Paktika, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni and Faryab provinces.

In these operations, 14 insurgents were killed, a hideout and 2 motorcycles were destroyed in Trenkut, Oruzgan capital. 4 insurgents were killed and 3 others were wounded in Balamorghab and Moqor districts of Ghazni. 3 insurgents were killed in Dara-Pech district of Kunar. 2 insurgents were killed and 4 Taliban commanders including Mullah Boorjan wounded and a hideout and 3 motorcycles were destroyed in Chesht Sharif district of Herat. 2 ISIS affiliates were killed in Khogyani district of Nangarhar.

Similarly, 2 insurgents were killed in Paktia capital. An insurgent was killed and one other was wounded in Alingar district of Laghman. One insurgent was killed and 3 others were wounded in Ghazni capital. One insurgent was killed in Greshk district of Helmand. One insurgent was killed and 2 others were wounded in Nimroz capital. 5 insurgents were wounded in Andkhoy district of Faryab.
