29 insurgents killed in different parts of the country

Kabul, Afghanistan:  In the past 24 hours, on the receipt of intelligence tips, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 7 clearing operations and 34 Special Forces tasks in different parts of the country in order to remove security threats and ensure security. Afghan Air Forces also conducted 52 flights supporting Afghan National Army and carried out 3 airstrike on enemies’ positions. As a result, 29 insurgents were killed, 23 were wounded and 4 suspects were arrested.

The operation was conducted by the Afghan National Army Forces in Nangarhar,Laghman,Paktika,Logar,Maidan Wardak,Kandahar,Zabul,Baghlan,Takhar and Helmand provinces.

As a result of these operations, 10 insurgents were killed and 16 others were wounded in Arghandab district of Zabul. 8 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded and 3 others were arrested in Andar district of Ghazni. 3 Haqi Network affiliates were killed in Giyan district of Paktika. 3 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in Alishang district of Laghman.

Similarly , 3 insurgents were killed in Nesh district of Kandahar and 2 ISIS fighters were killed in Pacheragam district of Nangarhar. An insurgent was arrested with a motorcycle in Tagab district of Badakhshan.
