Kabul – Afghanistan: continuing the bright history of Afghan National Army’s sacrifice and dedication, an ANA soldier sacrificed himself to save many lives.

Afghan National Army soldier saved lives of his comrades and people on   August 5, 2018 in Behsod area, Jalal Abad city. Muhammad Omar was soldier with 4th brigade, 201th Selab corps. He was martyred when confronted the man wearing an explosive vast. Omar didn’t hesitate to act. He wrapped his arms around the suicide comber in a selfless bear hug that saved countless lives.

Muhammad Omar Shirzad earned the eternal life and history, writing his name among the heroes. Afghan people and security forces are proud of Muhammad Omar’s sacrifice and dedication.
