58 Taliban terrorists were killed

 Kabul-Afghanistan:  58 insurgents including a local commander of Taliban were killed and 34 others were wounded in Afghan National Defense and Security Forces’ joint operations in different parts of Afghanistan.

During these operations in the past 24 hours, Afghan National and Defense Security forces  shelled and bombed the enemies’ positions by artilleries and air force in    Nangarhar,Laghman,Kapisa,Paktia,Paktika,Ghanzni,Oruzgan,Farah,Badghis,Balkh,Faryab,Kundoz and Helmand provinces.

Enemies suffered heavy casualties in these operations. 11 insurgents including a local commander of Taliban by the name of Fedayee killed and one other wounded in Batikut district of Nangarhar. 12 insurgents were killed, two were wounded and some round of weapon and ammunition destroyed in Bolan area of Lashkargah city of Helmand. 12 insurgents were killed, 14 were wounded, five motorbikes and some amount of ammunitions destroyed in Wayez district and capital of Ghazni. 12 insurgents were killed, seven were wounded, nine motorbikes and 15 rounds of weapon destroyed in capital of Oruzgan.

Similarly, three insurgents were killed and six others were wounded in Eshkamesh district of Takhar. Three insurgents were killed and two others were wounded in Balablok district of Farah. Two insurgents were killed in Alishang district of Laghman. Three insurgents were killed, two were wounded, two motorbikes and eight rounds of weapons destroyed in Taloka region, capital of Kundoz.

12 clearing operations, 16 Special Forces’ operations were carried out in 9 provinces in the past 24 hours. Afghan Air Force, also, conducted 86 freights supporting Afghan National army and carried out 4 airstrikes on enemies’ sanctuaries.

Afghan National Army as the nation’s defense forces, are ready to give sacrifices to bring lasting peace and security to the people and are determined to eradicate terror groups in Afghanistan.
