41 Taliban terrorists were killed

 Kabul-Afghanistan:  41 insurgents were killed and 36 others were wounded in Afghan National Defense and Security Forces’ joint operations in different parts of Afghanistan.

During these operations in the past 24 hours, Afghan National and Defense Security forces shelled and bombed the enemies’ positions by artilleries and air force in Nangarhar,Kapisa, Paktia,Paktika,Oruzgan,Badghis,Balkh,Faryab,Jawzjan,Kundoz and Helmand provinces.

Enemies suffered heavy casualties in these operations. 24 insurgents were killed , 17 were wounded , two depots of weapon and ammunition , six fighting positions , 18 rounds of mines , two vehicles and a motorbike destroyed in Chahar-Dara district of Kundoz. Five insurgents were killed, three were wounded and some rounds of weapon and ammunitions destroyed in Ghormach district of Faryab. 11 insurgents were killed and 12 others were wounded in Chora district of Urozgan. Two vehicles and 11 motorbikes were destroyed as well.

Similarly, two insurgents were killed and two others were wounded in Nahre-Saraj district and Bolan area of Helmand’s capital. One insurgent was killed in Alengar district of Laghman and two others were wounded in Aqcha district of Jawzjan.

11 clearing operations, 16 Special Forces’ operations were carried out in 9 provinces in the past 24 hours. Afghan Air Force, also, conducted 72 freights supporting Afghan National army and carried out 15 airstrikes on enemies’ sanctuaries.

Afghan National Army as the nation’s defense forces, are ready to give sacrifices to bring lasting peace and security to the people and are determined to eradicate terror groups in Afghanistan.
