30 Taliban terrorists were killed

Kabul-Afghanistan:  16 insurgents including three Taliban local commanders were killed and 14 others were wounded in Afghan National Defense and Security Forces’ joint operations in different parts of Afghanistan.

During these operations in the past 24 hours, Afghan National and Defense Security forces shelled and bombed the enemies’ positions by artilleries and air force in Nangarhar,Kapisa, Paktia,Paktika,Ghazni,Oruzgan,Zabul,Badghis,Balkh,Faryab and Helmand provinces.

Enemies suffered heavy casualties in these operations. 12 Taliban terrorists including three local commanders each, Mullah Khaleq, Mullah Musafer and Kheyal Muhammad were killed, 13 were wounded in Garmser, Marja and Lashkargah districts of Helmand. Four fighting positions were also destroyed. Three insurgents were killed, one was wounded and two motorbikes were destroyed in Siori district and capital of Zabul. One insurgents was killed in capital of Kundoz.

12 clearing operations, 18 Special Forces’ operations were carried out in 10 provinces in the past 24 hours. Afghan Air Force, also, conducted 59 freights supporting Afghan National army and carried out 12 airstrikes on enemies’ sanctuaries.

Afghan National Army as the nation’s defense forces, are ready to give sacrifices to bring lasting peace and security to the people and are determined to eradicate terror groups in Afghanistan.
